What is your solution for kids skipping school? Develop and write about your specific plan for keeping kids IN SCHOOL.
* BRAINSTORM first! You will turn in evidence of brainstorming.
* You decide how many paragraphs, although it still needs to be 1 full page.
REMINDER: I'm still missing some signed parent slips. Please get them in as soon as possible!
WEEKLY REVIEW:
This week, students continued to focus on brainstorming, conventions and dictionary skills. The students took a test on dictionary skills on Thursday. They also updated their portfolios adding assignments to their "assignment list" on which they marked "complete" or "missing." Students should know EXACTLY what they have missing. If they are missing assignments and would like to stay after school to get caught up, they can do that on Monday-Thursday from 3:30-4:30. They also were able to see if they had any more assignments that they could use as evidence of mastery. We closed our dictionary skills unit with some Scrabble fun on Friday!
